Just last week, I had my last day as an R&D engineering intern at Pylon Medical in Tel Aviv, Israel. This internship went above and beyond anything I could have anticipated and gave me a taste for biomedical and mechanical engineering. It showed me the kind of lifesaving technologies that can be created when people are truly motivated and care about the project they are working on. During this time, I had the chance to work closely with a team of talented and enthusiastic engineers. I worked on several exciting projects, including developing our V&V plan, writing detailed reports and protocols, and designing testing jigs. These experiences not only honed my technical skills with CAD and writing reports but allowed me to learn from the amazing team around me. Not only was I surrounded by my friends at Pylon, but also many other companies under the MEDX Xelerator LP. Being able to go to work and see not only the project I was directly working on, but so many other biomedical devices and projects, was really an eye opening learning experience and something I truly grateful for. A huge thank you to Or Zigelboim, Yuval Nachshon and Philip Mitsel for all of your mentorship and encouragement. The effort you all put in to make me feel welcomed and teaching me along the way was invaluable! Thanks for an unforgettable experience!
