Is claiming that groundcover #inCloud is changing the #observability game going too far? The short answer is no. For the long answer, you'll have to check out the super interesting episode of Bret Fisher's #podcast, featuring our Co-Founder and CEO, Shahar Azulay. But here's a snippet from Shahar's explanation about how inCloud works. Here is the full episode: https://lnkd.in/dH75XcRX

Yesterday we posted about being mentioned by the leading technological research and consulting firm in the world (see here: https://lnkd.in/d-8YB4dq). Now, this.. 🤯 Feels like we may be on to something here 😁 But in all honesty, this just continues to humble us, it's all happening very fast and we're more grateful than you can imagine about the recognition our observability platform is getting 🙏 🙌 The best part is - we're only getting started. The next few months will be very exciting 🚀 Consider joining the ride: https://lnkd.in/dGbQ9e24

Head of Platform at Angular Ventures

Huge congratulations to groundcover, an Angular Ventures portfolio company, for being chosen as one The Generalist's The Future 50: one of the 50 of the world’s highest-potential startups! Congrats to the co-founders, Shahar Azulay and Yechezkel Rabinovich, and the rest of the groundcover team! Here's why they were chosen: "Technologies like Kubernetes and the ubiquity of microservice architectures have changed how software is built. That has introduced plenty of efficiencies but has also added complexities. That makes it an apposite time for a new APM player to emerge .  1. Personal pain. CEO Shahar Azulay and CTO Yechezkel Rabinovich met in the R&D division of the Israeli Prime Minister’s office. While there, they encountered the shortcomings of traditional APM tools, planting the seed for their later entrepreneurial efforts. 2. Saving developers’ time. The complexity of modern software architecture makes it difficult for engineers to find and fix bugs. Indeed, one source estimates that it takes 64% of developers more than an hour to address issues. Groundcover simplifies the process, saving engineers valuable time. 3. Speed of implementation. One investor suggested it took just “five minutes” to get up and running with Groundcover. That may be a slight exaggeration, but it does highlight one of the company’s major strengths. While legacy systems can prove tricky to implement and unwieldy to maneuver, Groundcover makes things easy. 4. Breaking the “cost-depth trade-off.” Azulay argues that traditional APM tools force customers to choose between cheap, surface-level observability and expensive, in-depth analysis. That’s the case because developers traditionally either scour all available data or conduct random samples. Groundcover’s system directs developers toward the most actionable data, allowing them to find relevant information faster and more economically." groundcover receives first nod from leading tech analyst firm 🎉🎉🎉 In a recent Gartner research, titled "A Layered Approach to Implement Container Platforms On-Premises”, groundcover was mentioned as a Hybrid OaaS solution. So, why are we telling you about this? 🤗 Because it was just under 3 years ago that groundcover was only a thought in our founders’ minds 💡, as Shahar Azulay and Yechezkel Rabinovich set out to build a solution that completely changes the way organizations approach observability. Actually, back then, that thought was called “Prodstack”, but that’s material for a different post 🫠 And while we are humbled by the constant confirmation we get from incredible professionals in organizations we could have only fantasized would one day know what groundcover is, it’s absolutely amazing to get what we believe is expert confirmation - and from the leading technological research and consulting firm in the world, no less - that we’ve built something pretty special 💫 It’s amazing how fast our unique #inCloud architecture is making waves. If you want to find out what enables groundcover to be the only solution that completely decouples #observability cost from data volume, as well as the ability to offer truly on-premises setup options such as groundcover onPrem and airGapped, check this out: https://lnkd.in/dTmj_eAa

ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED: AWESOME OFFICES!! Today, just one month before #groundcover turns 3 years old, we’ve officially moved to a new address! 7 months after our complete renovation of the Red House building started, the groundcover team is settling into our new home 🏠 And it’s hard to describe the excitement 🤩 Moving from half a floor on top of a restaurant, and into a full blown, 4-floors building of our own, with a huge sign that has your company’s logo on it, is… pretty special 🥹 On that note, a huge #thankyou is in place to the entire groundcover family, which includes everyone on the team, our super valued customers, our free tier users, and everyone who has been part of this amazing journey so far. So, as adrenaline continues to fill the corridors of our new home for the coming days (maybe even weeks?), one thing is clearer than ever: This rocket ship is still on track to reach the moon, and then we'll see where to next when we get there. There's room for everyone, and if you're not yet part of this ride, you're invited to join it 🚀

Our Co-Founder and CEO, Shahar Azulay, was just on the "Devops and Docker Talk" podcast a couple days ago. If you've missed it, here (https://lnkd.in/dMDhR8HX) is the moment where Bret Fisher's mind seems to have officially been blown 🤯 by the ease with which groundcover's sensor collects traces' full payloads, including body and header. Bret - if we're wrong, let us know. Want to experience yourself? Check out our sandbox ⛱ : https://lnkd.in/dPe2uk_d

Our co-founder and CTO, Yechezkel Rabinovich (aka Chez) recently appeared on the "How It's Tested" #podcast on Heavybit's website, hosted by Eden Full Goh, Founder and CEO of Mobot. They dived into Chez's journey from founding and developing groundcover, to the more recent groundbreaking developments in our disruptive, eBPF-powered observability platform. What did they cover? 🌈 The dream: The frustration from traditional observability tools that drove Chez and his co-founder, Shahar Azulay, to dream of a frictionless and cost-effective solution 🏋♂️ Turning it into a product: groundcover monitors applications in real-time, without any code changes, providing unprecedented data granularity with minimal resource impact. It also decouples data volume from costs, ensuring predictable and affordable observability. 💎 Reshaping observability: Today groundcover is used by thousands, reducing costs by 60-90%, removing growth barriers, and eliminating the time wasted on instrumentation and maintenance. 🎧 Don't miss out on this insightful discussion, tune in now! https://lnkd.in/d9q8J_Wy

In just 3 days, Kubernetes will celebrate 10 years of existence! We're so excited about this, that we had to compile a list of 18 all-time mega hit songs that you never knew were really about Kubernetes. For example, did you know that The Beatles' Let It Be was originally titled #kubelet it be? What about the near-hit 90s song OOMKilling me softly? Check out the full list on DEV Community, which includes the story behind each story's change of direction, and a link to our #KuberTENes playlist on Spotify. Did we forget any? Let us know in the comments and we'll add the song to the playlist right away!
