BLEnergy is a leading battery energy storage systems (BESS) integrator and provider in Israel. Its clients are leading conventional and renewable energy IPPs (Independent power producers), energy players, electricity retail providers, Israeli grid company and C&I customers. The company support its customers along the process of business case evaluation, system and project design and commissioning, and long-term operation and maintenance services The company has been a strategic partner in Israel of CATL, the largest battery manufacturer globally, since 2016. Their cooperation focuses on EV and E busses for energy storage. CATL caters to leading global EV manufacturers as well as to leading global energy storage integrators and clients. BLEnergy offers diverse purchasing and operating models, both as a solution provider and as a “battery energy storage as a service” model where the company develops the operating system on the customer’s premises or in front of the meter, providing its customers with energy storage and electricity services. Since its founding in 2019 BLEnergy has closed deals to provide install commison and maintain 750 MWh, many of them in large PV BESS projects. It also built the first BESS facility in Israel, a micro-grid project. The company is capable and equipped to monitor, maintain and operate large number of distributed energy storage systems, and serves customers with long term service agreements. It recently announced a JV for the development, construction financing and ownership of a standalone BESS facilities for the high and super high voltage grid in Israel and is also expanding this activity to the European markets. BLEnergy is led by a team of experts with many years of experience in managing, developing and establishing renewable energy generation projects and companies.

Full Power: AGEERA Pioneering Energy Storage Facility Opens in Holon ! 8 months ago we signed with "Hazi - Hinam" an agreement to install an energy storage system across its network of stores. Today, we proudly inaugurated our first facility, a groundbreaking project that provides power to an entire shopping mall. Located at Holon branch, this is the first energy storage facility of its kind in Israel. With a capacity of 5.2 megawatt-hours and a power output of 1.25 megawatts, this innovative system marks a significant step forward in sustainable energy solutions. We were delighted to host the Holon Municipality, valued customers, partners, and Bank Leumi, which provided financing for this ambitious project. Today marks one year since October 7th. At Blenergy, we pause to remember and mourn the immense loss of life and the impact on countless grieving families and communities forever changed. We remember and mourn the lives of over 1,200 people lost on that day and the hundreds of lives lost since then. Our hearts are with 101 hostages - children, women, men, and elderly, who were forcibly taken from their homes and remain separated from their loved ones for more than 365 days. We hope and pray for their swift reunion with their families and friends. Our thoughts are also with the survivors who bear the physical and mental scars of that day. Their healing journey is ongoing, and we hope they find the strength and support needed to recover and rebuild their lives. As we reflect on this past year, we honor the memory of the lives lost and wish for the speedy return of all the hostages home.

CATL warranty deposit provision is the most stringent, and the warranty deposit of overseas gigafactories is basically provided at the level of 1-2%. CATL warranty deposit provision rate was controlled at around 3% from 2016 to 2020, and increased to 3.5%-4% from 2021 to 2023. The warranty deposit provision rates of China's second-tier gigafactories and overseas gigafactories showed a downward trend. In 2023, Farasis provided about 3%, Gotion, Samsung SDI, and LGES provided about 1-2%, and SKI provided about 0.5%. The overall provision was relatively loose. After the 8-year warranty period, profits will be transferred back. CATL is expected to have a 3% profit margin release space, and some overseas gigafactories may be eroded. After the warranty period ends, the warranty deposit can be offset against profits. The warranty deposit actually provided by CATL is far greater than the actual expenses incurred in the current period. The actual amount of after-sales service in 2023 only accounted for 0.1% of battery revenue. There is about 3% profit margin release space in the subsequent provision. Overseas gigafactories have loose provisioning. LGES has incurred more after-sales expenses than provisioning expenses for two consecutive years. The provision rate in 2023 was only 2.2%, and the actual expenses accounted for 2.8%, resulting in relevant profit erosion. https://lnkd.in/gdXFBYhA
