{How long have you been at Aidoc and what do you do?} I joined in January 2022, which means it's been 1 year and 9 months now. I'm a part of the TAM (Technical Account Management) team, and I work remotely from São Paulo. Interestingly, I'm the only Aidocee currently located outside of the US and Europe (for now!).  As a TAM, my role involves managing the relationship with our customers. This starts from the moment they become our customers and we deploy our solution, and it continues as they expand their usage of our algorithms and products. We constantly monitor and collaborate with our teams at Aidoc and the IT teams at our client sites to ensure they have the most optimized setup, making the best use of our capabilities. {How did you discover engineering?} I guess you could say it runs in the family. My dad had a career in IT, and we had a PC at home quite early, long before the Internet became a big thing. As I used it for playing games and doing homework, I naturally began to learn more about how it worked, upgrading parts, installing new software and doing some tech-related cool stuff. This eventually led me to delve into coding and take lessons in electronics and programming languages. Many years down the road, I became a computer engineer. {The most fun part of the job} “Go-lives” are super thrilling. It's the moment when all the hard work of deploying a project to a customer pays off. Turning it on and  witnessing firsthand how it improves the day to day operations and "wows" users is something I can never get tired of. {What’s the least fun part of the job?} Managing multiple time zones. It's the downside of having such an incredible and globally diverse team and customers - constantly being aware of other people's schedules and ensuring I don't accidentally schedule a meeting at 5 in the morning. {A project I’m proud of} We recently went live with our solution on a new customer after overcoming a lot of technical issues along the way. Overcoming these obstacles required a lot of creative thinking and close collaboration with our outstanding internal teams.  Additionally, we conducted extensive data analysis to ensure that we were fully prepared for the go-live - which by the way, was a great success. {Your alternative career} Probably something in Graphic Design. I like communicating concepts visually, and I often see that carefully choosing how to explain something can make a big difference in helping someone learn a new concept. {Something I’ve recently learned at work} Part of what we do involves managing projects, and that's been allowing me to develop a whole set of people skills! From collecting requirements, running meetings, communicating progress, or overcoming roadblocks-  It's an entire new dimension of work. {The item that’s always on my desk} While I'm a big fan of technology and use it extensively, nothing beats pen and paper to sketch a quick idea before it goes away.
