This June, we at HBP celebrated our first Multicultural Awareness Month! With team members hailing from 17 different countries, from Brazil to Australia, we took this opportunity to honour the cultures that make up our team. Throughout June, we displayed the flags of our nations, and they acted as a constant reminder of our diversity and unity, while symbolising our respect for each culture and our commitment to fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment. Our canteen was a hub of global flavors and rhythms, with cuisine and music representative of each nationality. Informative videos, lovingly prepared by our team members, played on our company screens, offering us a glimpse into their cultural heritage filled with fun and historical facts. The grand finale? A big quiz that captured our collective learning experience. We’ve learned so much, and it’s safe to say we’ve thoroughly enjoyed the journey and the vibrancy it brought to our workdays. But beyond this event, the important message remains: At HBP, we highly value and welcome the diversity of views, cultures, and opinions. Corporate Social Responsibility Event at HBP Helsinn Birex Pharmaceuticals (HBP) celebrated World Ocean Day (June 08th) by conducting a beach Clean-Up event at the invitation of the Bull Island Nature Reserve. This initiative which aligned to HBP’s CSR programme, took place on June 13, with 30 employees volunteering for a three-hour clean-up at Bull Island. Despite challenging weather conditions, the team did an outstanding job. Well done to the team for their extraordinary efforts!

Celebrating a sweet success with our charity cake sale triumph, in aid of Aoibheann’s pink tie, the National Children’s Cancer Charity.  The delicious homemade treats and the worthy cause, truly brought out the best in our team. Mick Rochford, co-founder of the National Children's Cancer Charity popped in to oversee the festivities. Every slice of cake sold, directly supports Aoibheann’s Pink Tie's mission. Together we are making a difference in families who’s children are affected by cancer.  Thank you !
