About Steer

Steer is looking for an exceptional individual to lead the further growth of our Company across the island of Ireland. We are a global employee-owned business consultancy, specialising in transport, cities and infrastructure. We have over 530 staff working from 24 offices around the world - we want to make Dublin our 25th!

We offer a deep technical expertise in transport, economic development and financial advisory, and a growing capability in sustainability and energy. We have an enduring commitment to generate success for our clients, for ourselves and for the communities we work in. For over four decades we have been proudly independent, controlled and owned by people working within the business. Today this legacy of employee ownership and empowerment continues, and our role in helping people, places and economies thrive means that social responsibility is an important part of our culture and values. A commitment that ultimately improves the way people live, work and travel.

Steer first worked in Ireland over 30 years ago. Our first commission was exploring the case for light rail, and we are proud to be a part of the team that enabled Luas to now be serving 48.2 million passengers a year. Today we work for clients including the National Transport Authority , Irish Rail, the Irish Aviation Authority, the Department of the Economy and the Department of Science, Innovation and Technology.
