Film Track kicks off tomorrow, Friday 23rd with 3 days of screenings, talks and events in Limerick City celebrating independent filmmaking. And we have just added an outdoor Cinema Screening on Sunday night by the Castle, screening 'Good Vibrations' with a BBQ by Treaty City Brewery There is still time to register and get involved in what promises to be an exciting weekend for everyone, from aspiring to experienced filmmakers and storytellers. Saturday at 1.30pm at ENGINE. We have a preview of WOKEN,a sci-fi dystopian thriller film starring Erin Kellyman and Maxine Peake, and filmed entirely in Clare and Limerick, screening at the Belltable Saturday at 8pm. Director Alan Friel and Producers John McDonnell and Brendan Mccarthy from Fantastic Films will be present for a Q&A afterwards. We have an In Conversation with Tadhg O'Sullivan, celebrating the work of the acclaimed film-maker, sound artist and writer at ENGINE on Saturday at 3pm. Underground Shorts* Experience a genre-bending programme of short films that you will never forget in a unique location - now moved to (an overground*) venue at Cleeves factory.
