Wow we are all still buzzing from Sunday King of Greystones event. Thank you everyone for your support, this really was an amazing day, it is so great to see all the photos and videos of everyone smiling and enjoying the race. Thank you all for your support for The Gavin Glynn Foundation and helping families battling childhood cancer in Ireland. Yesterday’s event wouldn’t have been possible without the support of so many people. To Roisin Coughlan our volunteer manager, and the 130 Volunteers who gave up their time, we thank all so much. (including my work colleagues in Tesco Ireland) you really made everyone feel safe and motivated throughout the course. It was so great to finally meet Raheem and his mum Joyce, they called into TGGF HQ yesterday. Raheem was diagnosed with an Ependymoma (brain tumour) and we helped when they travelled to Westdeutsches Protonentherapiezentrum Essen (WPE) for Proton treatment back in Feb this year.
