About us
TEAM HOPE is an Irish, interdenominational Christian development aid charity, working with children, and through them, into their families and communities in Eastern Europe, former Soviet Union and Africa (Irish charity number CHY 14524). Best known for our Annual Christmas Shoebox Appeal, we also help children all year round (many in families surviving on less than €1 a day) through a variety of community development projects; an International Sponsorship Programme, a Christmas Gift Catalogue and International Teams running two week summer teams running camps or work projects. Working with our international partners in Eastern Europe and Africa, we seek to help some of the most needy children and their families. For our 2015 Christmas Shoebox Appeal, we are planning on 200,000 gift boxes, with up to 20,000 for Refugees in Europe. In Ireland, TEAM HOPE are very grateful for the on going support and commitment of countless school-children, businesses and their staff, community groups, donors and around 2,000 volunteers.

Espérance's story is a testament to the power of Team Hope's work in Burundi. Through this project, she was able to provide a better future for her children. Your donation can help more women and children experience the same hope and progress. https://lnkd.in/dYywQvwk

The impact of bringing water to the Nzewani community in Kenya has been truly life-changing. Just a year ago, women and girls spent 3-4 hours each day collecting water, but now, thanks to the generosity of supporters like you, they have access to clean water right in their own community. This has impacted their education, ability to earn an income and given mothers back time tp spend with their children and to cook nutritious meals. Read all about it at: https://lnkd.in/eSc8ybbj

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the new Dublin offices of Fortune 500 company, ServiceNow, last week. We got to inform and inspire their team with news on our overseas projects and we also ran a Christmas Shoebox Appeal workshop with the staff over lunch 🤗 Thank you so much for having us and a huge thanks to Mathijs van den Heuvel & Maria Figueroa Marmol for organising such a special event.

Two years ago, Team Hope, through our partners in Rwanda, began supporting a group of survivors of the Rwandan genocide. The results of THE KABAGALI PINEAPPLE PROJECT have been amazing! 712 households are now reaping the benefits - improved nutrition, increased income, and holistic health for their children. Survivors are rebuilding their stories and making new ones. Read all about it at https://lnkd.in/eEQzc-QA
