Watching the recent Olympic games in Paris, I was inspired by athletes promoting the power of taking a break to reset both body and mind for better performance. I recently experienced this firsthand at SolarWinds, where tenured employees receive a month's sabbatical with pay. This transformative month allowed me to disconnect, spend quality time with loved ones, travel across Canada, and even check off items from my bucket list (my equestrian skills are not quite at Olympic level just yet 😉). It serves as a reminder that taking a break and returning re-energized is more powerful & impactful. I am extremely grateful to SolarWinds and the leadership team; Sudhakar Ramakrishna, Brian Goldfarb, Andrea Webb, Bart Kalsu, Jeffrey Key, Jason Bliss, Krishna Sai, and Cullen Childress for this opportunity and to my exceptional team for all their support in my absence: Louise Cannon, Ruth Sheahan, Manuel Murcela Gomes, Gaëlle Maistre-Bazin, Tobi Makanjuola, Maria Traganou, Sophie Dunlea, and Millie Strappe.
