A busy couple of days were had and a lot of work done ✔️ Finished off with a final pitch and Q and A for the Final Round of the Impact Award with Social Entrepreneurs Ireland at Kennedy Wilson this evening 😅 We have been on quite a journey with SEI who helped me to bring forward a concept in my head to a national programme of change through Spéire Nua and a huge thank you to everyone in our circle that has walked the walk with us every step of the way ❤️ Wishing all of our fellow finalists all the very best in the final decisions and I am really proud to stand amongst all you amazing people all at this final hurdle, and I look forward to solidifying our connections as fellow alumni as we all continue to drive change for the good 💙

After receiving 108 incredible applications, we are thrilled to announce the following social entrepreneurs as our fifteen finalists for the 2024 Impact programme! 🎉 Today, they face their final interview for a place on the nine-month programme that provides support and training to high potential and developing-stage social entrepreneurs who are driving lasting social change in Ireland. The programme, supported by Kennedy Wilson, is designed to increase the impact of social entrepreneurs by allowing them to focus on the needs of their individual social entrepreneur journey. 🚀 As well as this, the five successful entrepreneurs will receive combined funding of €100,000 to grow their organisations. The journey of our Changing Ireland Accelerator Awardees 🚀🌎 In June 2023, Mamobo O., Niamh Tallon & Mohammed Mahomed, Helene Hugel and Shane McKenna received the good news that they were selected to take part on the Changing Ireland Accelerator. It was a 12 month initiative to support social entrepreneurs reaching Ireland’s most underserved and under-represented communities to create transformational change. Throughout the programme, Sophie Ainscough worked directly with the four awardees.
