Our Business Development manager Edel O'Connor provided an overview of the Irish maritime market in the opening session of the panel. This was followed by presentations from Shannon Foynes Port, Rosslare Europort and ESB which showcased their plans in relation to supporting offshore wind in Ireland. It was a really well-organised and productive day! Marine Institute

We were both excited and enlightened last week as Transition Year students in our Compass ‘Shooting the Breeze’ competition set out the sustainable future that they believe is in reach. A future thanks to what we can do by harvesting, from the Shannon Estuary, Europe’s greatest wind resource on Ireland’s west coast. Watch as attendees give their view on the magnificent presentations and videos that the students gave on the day. hashtag #NormaFoleyTD, Patrick O'Donovan TD, Seán Kelly MEP, Niall Collins The Hunt Museum, Foynes Flying Boat Museum, Limerick Chamber, Tralee Chamber Alliance, Shannon Chamber of Commerce
