We are delighted to share that the PHX Ireland's ‘Recognising People’ Awards event will be taking place in September in the Mansion House Dublin, hosted by our fabulous and favourite MC Darren Kennedy.    The engagement throughout the nomination stage of the awards has been huge; we received nearly 450 nominations under the eight new award categories, aligned to our PHX Ireland Values which we launched earlier in the year. Of these nominations, 65 finalists have progressed from across our business units. We will be sharing spotlights on the finalists in the award categories over the coming weeks. The annual PHOENIX International Management Meeting for IT & Digital took place in Dublin, Ireland recently. The two-day conference was attended by international leaders from across Europe, focusing on the contribution of IT & Digital to the business priorities of PHOENIX group - Integrated Healthcare Provider. The main focus of the event was to demonstrate how IT & Digital enables our business to continue to grow and meet the needs of our customers. Digital transformation equates to business transformation. It is an ongoing effort that requires close collaboration across functions and countries. Earlier this month we hosted coffee mornings for participants on our Female-Centric Mentorship Programme, to mark the half-way point of the programme. Facilitated by our programme partner Darina Mulligan, these sessions gave mentors, and mentees, an opportunity to come together both in-person and online to reflect on their progress to date. Mentors shared their learnings and the challenges they faced, while mentees took time to reset and refocus their goals and intentions for the second half of the programme. Participants especially enjoyed treats from Loaf Catering and Cafes. Loaf is a social enterprise in Dublin who offer food with purpose, supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, and neurodiverse conditions into jobs with a future. We would like to congratulate our charity partner, ISPCC on winning an award at the Annual Awards for Excellence in Public Relations 2024. The ISPCC won the Best Short-Term Media Relations Campaign Award, for their ‘For some children, Christmas doesn’t happen’ campaign. The Campaign was noted for its “hard-hitting” messaging, which “showed no fear of exposing harsh truths about childhood in Ireland.” We commend the ongoing work of the IPSCC and support them in their mission to enhance the lives of children and young people in Ireland. PHX Ireland celebrated Pride on Saturday by participating in the 50th annual Dublin Pride Parade. Teammates from across all of our businesses took part in the Parade and not even the rain could dampen our spirits! While the Pride Parade marked the end of Pride month, rest assured that our dedication to creating a safe and inclusive space for our LGBTQ community continues throughout the whole year. PHX Ireland is proud to be a Pride at Work partner where we share a common belief and commitment that Pride is more than a day. Through this partnership we’ve access to the Pride at Work conference and to incredible training and guest speakers – including the wonderful Karina Murray who presented the talk  ‘How to be an Ally’ live in Magna Park on June 18th. As a part of our Pride celebrations, we invited Karina Murray from Pride at Work to deliver an engaging, in-person masterclass on ‘How to be an Ally’ as a part of our ‘including you’ initiative. Our team learned that being an LGBTQ ally has a significant impact, both in the workplace and everyday life. Whether we actively participate in Pride activities or use our voices to stand up against homophobia and transphobia, allyship matters.   PHX Ireland is proud to be a Pride at Work partner where we share a common belief and commitment that Pride is more than a day.
