🔝 💡 Climbing the BIM ladder   📚 We are using this methodology in the Grangegorman Academic Library Hub project for the University of Dublin.   🔹 Its implementation has led to improved collaboration between all parties involved in the development of the project, a reduction in errors through early identification of potential problems and the creation of optimized workflows. It also has a positive impact on the management of its architecture, which includes elements such as glazing, stone, furniture, electricity, mechanics and plumbing.   🔹 The building consists of 12,580 sqm, with 9,505 sqm of new construction, framed by a complex of buildings and spaces, both new and pre-existing, around the historic listed structures of North House East and North House West.   #OHLA #ProgressEnablers #Construction #Projects #Ireland

🏗 🎓 🏢 We advance! We have just inaugurated the next phase of construction of the new Academic Center at the Grangegorman campus of the Technical University of Dublin (Ireland). Its more than 12,600 m2 will house a library, resulting from the merger of the seven existing libraries, and other support services for students and staff, including the Mathematics Learning Center and the Academic Writing Center. This week we welcomed Minister Pascal Donoghue & Minister Simon Harris for a progress walk on the site to showcase our progress. 👏🏻 🏗 🏫 We are pleased to announce that another of our D&B Schools projects currently under construction in Ireland has been handed over to the client. Keys of the new school were handed over from KSNPM to the principal from the LMETB, along with representatives from the Department of Education and the JV Contractors OHLA-OHMG JV. Ashbourne Community National School, 16 Classroom Primary School with ancillary accommodation and all associated site work. This was a great team effort from all and is a positive milestone for the overall Design & Build Schools project with Laytown, and Belmayne completions to follow shortly. Thousands of pupils will be educated over the expected lifespan of the buildings, this is something OHLA is proud of as it leaves a lasting positive mark on our society. Congratulations to all who have been involved in this framework project!
