Last week Alex Clarke visited Isabelle Winter at BURTON UPON TRENT AND DISTRICT YMCA and took a tour around one of their sites to see first-hand the ongoing support and care that the charity provides to members of our community, reminding us why we continuously support important charities like YMCA.

Jack Burrows competed in the Burton Rowing Regatta, where two races were sponsored by MALONE Group. He went on to win two events in both a double race and an eight person race!

Yesterday we welcomed Ivan Slavov to our growing Bulgarian team. He joins us at an exciting time as an Industrial Automation Engineer working on our projects internationally.

As we head further in 2024, we look back at some of our highlights so far this year.

Last week we expanded our Burton-on-Trent team with the addition of Francisca Shumba to our project support group. Francisca is pictured with Chris Manning MAPM MIPMA .

Max Leach completes his internship today by giving a lunch and learn presentation on AI. Max is currently studying for a degree in engineering at the University of Florida. During his summer internship in Malone Group's Dublin office, Max has focused on a number of key projects with us including Artificial Intelligence and sustainability.Max also got the opportunity to work with our teams across Ireland, UK, USA, Canada and Bulgaria to gain experience on a wide range of projects. “Max has settled in really well and has already made a very positive contribution to our team. We have a very strong internship program at Malone Group based on trusting and empowering our interns to make the most of their time with us” Tim Noone VP Operatons.

Eleanor Stevens from the Process & Sustainability team based in the UK recently hosted a Lunch & Learn session, providing insights for the wider business into her team's pivotal work within MALONE Group.

This week our Samantha Leach joined our Richmond Hill, Toronto team as our new Marketing and Business Coordinator. Tim Noone and Mike Pareja were there to welcome her.

We are proud to be coming to the end of two major FMCG projects on the UK South Coast. MALONE Group was responsible for concept design, project management, CDM PD and PC, plus supported with functional specialists throughout the works. Project deliverables included: Relocation of manufacturing processes across multiple UK sites. Site wide manufacturing facility upgrades to meet latest international regulations. Hygienic and allergen segregation site construction upgrades. Construction of large scale, hygienic, staff welfare facilities. Laboratory construction and fit-out. Bulk raw material storage, transportation, and product processing. Design, specification and contract management. Last week we welcomed Alec Wild to the Burton team, where he will be assisting the digital development team in the progression of our Predictive Maintenance App using his skills in robotics, machine learning and AI.
