The team came together to plant fruit, vegetables, herbs and beautiful flowers in a small garden where employees can avail of the fruits of their labour. This week we said goodbye to our dear colleague Rita Bergin, who retired after serving 41 years in Glanbia, most recently in Glanbia House. Rita was a vital support to the senior executive leadership team in her role as Executive Assistance to several of Glanbia's CEOs down through the years and a number of senior executives during her impressive tenure. CEO of Glanbia Nutritionals, Brian Phelan and CFO of Glanbia, Mark Garvey both paid tribute to Rita, noting her unflappable disposition and recognising her as someone who carried out her role with efficiency and always with a smile and a sense of humour. Rita will be missed by all who knew her over her 41-year tenure and we wish her and her family many happy and healthy years as she enters this new chapter of her life.

Some of our US locations hosted their annual employee appreciation events with a summer picnic in Downer's Grove and a summer BBQ at Twin Falls.
