Here at CimTech, we hold a bi-weekly series called Pulse, where teammates share their product or capabilities updates with the rest of the organization. This week, we reviewed how teams are using #GenerativeAI to analyze end-customers’ artwork to learn their intent behind getting the artwork printed on a product. By understanding these document intentions, Cimpress businesses can offer more tailored recommendations and services, enhancing #CustomerSatisfaction and #Engagement.

This week, the #CimTechLeaderSeries features Dhaval Shah, who has been working for Cimpress for six years within the eCommerce team. Dhaval builds products that manage merchant orders and their journey through the #MassCustomization Platform while also supporting other products like Quotes, Complaints, etc. Dhaval also believes in and actively participates in identifying and cultivating leaders within his team by actively engaging with and #Mentoring them.

This week, we learned about the products that our #Access team created. The team has built many #Authorization tools to keep the Cimpress businesses and our customers #Safe while shopping on our websites.

On June 12, the Cimpress office in Bangalore hosted a High Tea event with our #EmployeeResourceGroup (ERG), Women at Work. During the event, the group hosted a panel discussion with women leaders across the organization, including Christina Wick, Chanda Sethia, Hanaa Antunes Boumah, and Rinku Singhal. They discussed many topics, including embracing failure and the intricacies of work/life harmony. The event raised awareness of the Women at Work ERG in India. Attendees fostered genuine relationships and started to build new networks to support #Mentorship and community building opportunities, allowing for increased #Development and personal growth.

This week, the #CimTechLeaderSeries features Dipin Shetty, who joined Cimpress in November 2018. He started as a senior #DevOps Engineer to help his team with their operations and infrastructure. He and the team built out #Authentication and #Authorization microservices which have been adopted by almost all of Cimpress' businesses. Dipin now leads the DevOps team of four people within our Access team. His focus is to make his team’s services a gold standard for #Operations, resilience, & reliability in Cimpress. Dipin is passionate about problem solving, which has further helped him learn and grow at Cimpress!

This week, we learned about OneCommerce, the latest product offering from our #eCommerce team. This innovative solution serves as a simplified gateway to the world of the #MassCustomization Platform. OneCommerce was built to simplify the eCommerce process for Cimpress businesses when they are onboarding onto the Mass Customization Platform.

This week, the #CimTechLeaderSeries features Mohit K.. Since joining Cimpress in July 2020 on the eCommerce team, Mohit’s focus has been on optimizing user experiences and ensuring the reliability of online platforms. He has led quality engineering efforts to support #eCommerce initiatives, ensuring seamless functionality and performance across web platforms. Mohit has collaborated closely with product teams to identify and address potential issues, leveraging automation and testing methodologies to enhance the overall quality of eCommerce solutions. He has gained valuable insights into the unique challenges and opportunities within the eCommerce landscape, driving his passion for delivering exceptional digital experiences.

This week, we learned about a #DigitalAssetManagement solution named Sherbert. The tool helps customers improve their designs, ensuring that every product customers order is exactly how they intended it look. Through the power of #AI, Sherbert allows customers to more easily store, retrieve, process, and associate their design on different products.

This week, the #CimTechLeaderSeries features Nathan Woods, who started at #Vista in 2006 and joined Cimpress Technology at its inception. Over the years, Nate has worked on artwork related technologies, ranging from internal content tools, #Visualization technologies and text handling. He also has #Patents related to “scene rendering technologies” for realistic previews (e.g. design a t-shirt and you can see your t-shirt online on a human). Last but not least, Nate is the #ProudFather of 16 year old identical twins!

This week, we learned about the process we use to deliver 100% ready-to-print customer artwork to fulfillers to ensure a smooth and efficient #ManufacturingProcess. When there is a problem with the artwork, the system will reject it and inform teams to manually review the design. Teams explored those rejections to learn how to improve the process so more artwork can be automatically fixed and accepted, leading to a faster manufacturing process and improved #CustomerSatisfaction.
