Prosumer

Prosumer adalah lakuran dari kata producer atau professional dan consumer. Istilah ini pertama dicetuskan oleh Marshall McLuhan dan Barrington Nevitt dalam buku mereka Take Today (p. 4) pada 1972. Saat ini juga digunakan untuk barang-barang elektronik, misalnya kamera, camcorder, dan HDTV.
