Dalam notasi musik, sebuah nilai not mengindikasikan durasi sebuah not, menggunakan tekstur atau bentuk kepala not, ada atau tidak adanya tangkai, dan ada atau tidak adanya bendera. Nilai not tanpa modifikasi adalah pangkat pecahan dua (contohnya, satu, setengah, seperempat, seperdelapan, dan seterusnya).
