PROK Persuaders - keeping your operations on track. Persistent issues with belt misalignment was threatening to cause major operational delays at this large iron ore site, here's how we helped solve it. Belt misalignment and drift are common challenges on mine sites, often leading to costly maintenance. Left unchecked, these issues can cause significant damage to conveyor belts and reduce overall productivity. Fortunately, there’s a solution. We were able to fix a major tracking issue on this conveyor by installing heavy-duty PROK Persuader frames. The site has since reported an 80% reduction in tracking issues on this belt. Impressed with the results, the site plans to implement the same Persuader concept on two additional conveyors during the upcoming shutdown, aiming to eliminate tracking issues across all key belts.
