⚡ Enel X Way disclosed 10 vulnerabilities found by PCAutomotive   Enel X Way, a division of the Enel Group specializing in advanced electric vehicle charging solutions and services, issued an advisory on vulnerabilities in the Enel X Waybox Pro & Plus 3.0 charger. The vulnerabilities were discovered by the Security Assessment team of PCAutomotive: Abdellah Benotsmane, Anna Breeva, Artem Ivachev and Danila Parnishchev.   According to tests conducted by Enel X Way, an attacker exploiting the vulnerabilities on an unpatched charger could gain access to information stored on the charger, bypass charging restrictions set by the device owner, and cause a denial of service on the charger.   The vendor promptly released new firmware that resolved all the identified vulnerabilities and remotely updated all affected connected chargers. No actions were required by end users. PCAutomotive has Successfully Completed the Penetration Testing of an Elli EV Charger ⚡ Great news! PCAutomotive's Security Assessment team recently finished a penetration testing project for Elli, a brand of the Volkswagen Group.
