Organica Water is a global provider of innovative solutions for the treatment and recycling of wastewater. Over the past two decades Organica has developed a truly unique approach, enabling customers all over the world to build and operate space and energy efficient biological wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) that blend harmoniously into urban and residential population centers, lowering infrastructure costs and facilitating reuse and recycling of treated wastewater. Established in 1998, Organica began as a traditional wastewater design-build company focused exclusively on the Hungarian market. During the first nine years of its life the company built over 75 municipal, commercial, and industrial WWTPs using a variety of different technologies, while continually investing into R&D to further develop its own IFAS-type solution for biological wastewater treatment. In 2007 Organica sold its design-build business to focus exclusively on the commercialization of its own biological wastewater treatment solution on a global basis. Today, Organica is an international company with offices in three different continents, and the world leader in Fixed-Bed Biofilm Activated Sludge (FBAS) technology, with more than 80 references operating or under construction all over the world.

The President of Indonesia inaugurates a new Organica Water plant 🚀 We are thrilled to share that the Honorable President of Indonesia, Mr. Joko Widodo, inaugurated a new Organica plant in the country. Indonesia is the 4th largest country by population and visibility at the highest level marks an important milestone. The 8,100 m3 per day facility serves the city of Pekanbaru on Sumatra Island. Our partner PJLEnviro secured this contract in a joint venture with PT PP (Persero) Tbk back in 2021. As part of the event, Suresh had the opportunity to present our solution to both the Director General and the Minister of Public Works. What an achievement! Honorable President of Indonesia, Mr. Joko Widodo, inaugurated wastewater treatment plant powered by Organica FCR technology (FBAS - Fixed bed Biofilm Activated Sludge) with a design capacity of 8,100 m3 per day for the city of Pekanbaru on 31st May 2024. This inauguration is an important milestone in our journey, we received award for this project back in 2021 when our partner PJLEnviro secured this contract in Joint Venture with PT PP (Persero) Tbk. Despite winning almost 11 projects over the past decade in Indonesia, this is the first project that we executed for the Ministry of Public Works & Housing - Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR). It was a true honor to be invited for this inauguration and being offered an opportunity to personally explain about our solution to both the Director General of Cipta Karya Mrs. diana kusumastuti and Mr. Basuki Hadimuljono - Minister of Public Works and Housing of Indonesia. Both applauded our technology for its advantages, unique green elements and fresh perspective to this age old industry. We truly believe this event marks beginning of a brand new chapter for us in the Indonesian Municipal Wastewater Industry, an industry that will never be the same again. New Project Alert! We're thrilled to announce our latest project win in the ASEAN region! 🎉 Organica Water FCR has been selected for a 15 MLD Greenfield WWTP at a Leading Industrial Park in Indonesia. The client chose Organica Solution to replace their existing asset built with conventional technologies. They also commissioned a 9 MLD WWTP powered by Organica Water back in 2018 and choosing our solution again speaks volumes about the benefits and advantages offered by Organica.
