In his capacity as the Chairman of the The Hong Kong Shipowners Association, Angad Banga, Chief Operating Officer, sat down with local business media to discuss Hong Kong’s enduring significance as a global maritime hub.   Hong Kong is uniquely positioned because of the strength of its financial and professional services that support the maritime industry. Hong Kong can also learn from markets such as London and Switzerland to excel in high value-added services. Greater collaboration between Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area has great potential to boost trade volume and operational efficiency.   The Hong Kong Shipowners Association is one of the largest associations with more than 180 members owning, managing and operating fleets as well as providing professional services to the industry.
