We were glad to have LegCo member Ms Yan Chan #陳凱欣 host our first “Women’s Talk” and networking session as part of our #SinoWomenConnect initiative.     Growing up in the unique setting of Kowloon Walled City has instilled Yan a spirit of courage, determination and resilience. She bravely navigated beyond her career comfort zone on multiple occasions, including rising quickly from career setbacks and embracing bold career change as a new mother. On the tips to balance work and life, Yan encouraged our female colleagues to maintain a positive mindset during hardships, pursue their passions ardently, and prioritise precious family moments by intentionally setting aside time. In the networking session after the talk, participants got to connect with each other and with Yan on a personal level over refreshments.       Our female colleagues have resonated deeply with her story and been inspired by her relentless pursuit of excellence in all facets of life. We will continue fostering a supportive environment through our Sino Women Connect, ensuring that our female colleagues continue to thrive and connect in meaningful ways. #SinoGroup #SinoLand #CreatingBetterLifescapes #SinoWomenConnect #Sustainability #Inclusivity #InspireInclusion #TogetherForBetter

Together with our philanthropic arm, the Ng Teng Fong Charitable Foundation (NTFCF), we have partnered with Integrated Brilliant Education (IBEL) to support non-Chinese speaking children from diverse ethnic backgrounds to promote social inclusion in Hong Kong. One of our recent initiatives involved providing educational support and teaching resources for their newly established IBEL Rusy and Purviz Shroff Charitable Foundation Kindergarten. This kindergarten is dedicated to nurturing their students' Chinese language proficiency from an early age to foster their social integration into the broader Hong Kong community.      In addition to education, we have been supporting IBEL's students since 2021 through culturally immersive activities. These activities include in-depth explorations of the rich cultural heritage of the Tai O fishing village during excursions to the Tai O Heritage Hotel, festive workshops at The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Hong Kong during Chinese New Year, and educational visits to the CORAL REEFStoration Centre at Ocean Park Corporation. These experiences deepened the students’ understanding of Chinese culture and strengthened their sense of identity in Hong Kong.     Promoting social inclusion aligns with our core vision, and we remain committed to collaborating with like-minded partners to empower minority communities and foster a more inclusive and harmonious society.     #SinoGroup #SinoLand #CreatingBetterLifescapes #NTFCF #CommunitySpirit #SocialInclusion

We are delighted to be part of the “Used Book Recycling Campaign 2024”, which kicked off recently at #Citywalk. The event, organised by World Vision Hong Kong and AEON, aims to raise funds for the therapy and educational programmes of underprivileged children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and their families in Hong Kong.    With the support of #SinoPropertyServices, we collected old and used books from 89 of our managed properties and brought them to the charity sale. We are happy to have witnessed the public donating their books to our properties over the past month, and we encourage the community to continue supporting the campaign’s book sale at the Citywalk 2 Event Hall before it ends on 22 July.    Sharing the vision of a more inclusive society, we are grateful for this opportunity to raise awareness for such a meaningful cause, and we look forward to seeing our collective efforts contribute to promoting greater understanding and support for SEN children and their needs.    #SinoGroup #SinoLand #CreatingBetterLifescapes #CommunitySpirit

We are delighted to announce that our latest development, One North, has been awarded the Grand Award in the Sales and Leasing Category at the HKIS Awards 2024.    Organised by the The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS), this year's awards, under the theme “Surveying for a Sustainable Future,” aimed to highlight projects that prioritise sustainability and contribute to a greener, more eco-friendly environment. This accolade for One North, one of the first Grade A Office-Retail Complexes in Hong Kong’s Northern Metropolis region, reinforces our commitment to sustainability and recognises our effort in sales and marketing strategies. This landmark complex promotes a harmonious work-life balance and serves as a vibrant one-stop lifestyle hub for our tenants.    We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to HKIS for this honour and to our dedicated colleagues who have played a vital role in bringing this vision to life. Together, we will continue to uphold our belief in sustainability, embracing innovation and technology in our developments to #CreatingBetteLifescapes.   #SinoGroup #SinoLand #OneNorth #Sustainability #Innovation

We are delighted to welcome our new batch of summer interns and to see our offices come alive with their enthusiasm! Themed “Kick-start your Sustainable Career”, our internship programme will immerse them in training and activities aligned with our vision of “Creating Better Lifescapes”. They will learn how we implement ESG practices into our business operations and embrace a collaborative spirit as we shape a sustainable future for our stakeholders. During the orientation week, interns learned about the company through dialogues with different departments. They also got a first-hand look at our efforts on “Green Living”, “Innovative Design” and “Community Spirit” during their visits to Sino Inno Lab, Sky Farm, Tai O Heritage Hotel, Grand Central, and Yue Man Square. One of the highlights was a team-building exercise at Ocean Park.     We look forward to seeing how they apply their corporate insights into their group projects: an ESG-focused shopping mall promotions plan, led by our Management Trainees as Project Coaches. We hope to empower the next generation to kickstart a sustainable career and transform our communities for the better. Stay tuned for more updates! #SinoGroup #SinoLand #CreatingBetterLifescapes #TogetherForBetter #GreenLiving #InnovativeDesign #CommunitySpirit #SinoTalent #InternshipProgramme #TalentDevelopment

The Community Living Room programme, initiated by the HKSAR government, promotes communal spaces that provide for daily needs, develop neighbourly connections and provide social support for families and individuals living in subdivided units. Following the success of the first Community Living Room in Sham Shui Po, a second Community Living Room has now been launched in Hung Hom. We are delighted to support the government on this project again with our philanthropic arm, the Ng Teng Fong Charitable Foundation. Similar to the first Community Living Room, this new one in Hung Hom provides multi-purpose spaces and welcoming facilities for the families, encouraging them to participate in social activities and networking, fostering a greater sense of community and ultimately improving their quality of life. In addition, we have collaborated with the School of Chinese Medicine, HKBU to launch the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Health Programme for both the Sham Shui Po and Hung Hom Community Living Rooms' members. The programme will provide free medical outreach healthcare services and remedies to these members starting in mid-August. This sponsored programme is expected to provide nearly 5000 consultation services to the members. Once again, we are very grateful to the HKSAR government for the opportunity to serve our community and this second Community Living Room in our city was made possible by the close collaboration among various government departments and organisations, including planning from the Labour and Welfare Bureau and Social Welfare Department, funding from the Community Care Fund, and operational support from the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Welfare Council 香港聖公會福利協會. Through working with like-minded partners, we hope to continue showing our care for all community members while creating a stronger, more inclusive society together. #SinoGroup #SinoLand #CreatingBeetterLifescapes #NTFCF #CommunitySpirit #CommunityLivingRoom

As Paris 2024 fast approaches, we are delighted to announce the launch of our "Cheer for Athletes" campaign. This series of exciting events is designed to unite the community to support our athletes while encouraging public participation in sports.   We were honoured to kick off this city-wide initiative with esteemed guests, including Mr. Kenneth Fok, JP, Vice President of the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China and Chairman of Hong Kong Olympic Fan Club; and Mr. Benjamin Cabouat, Consul for Culture, Education and Science of the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macau. Also joining us during the ceremony were former Hong Kong fencer Mr. Shawn Cheung, badminton athlete Mr. Angus Ng, and breakdance athletes Mr. Sze Ka-yam (BBoy C Plus) and Mr. Tsang Tsz-wa (BBoy Think), who have shared words of encouragement to our athletes.    To enable the crowd to witness these signature events and cheer for our athletes, we have partnered with TV stations to live-stream key events on the massive screens at #OlympianCity, #tmtplaza, #Citywalk, and #OneNorth. Across Sino Malls, we will be hosting over 50 sporting experiences, including a rewards-redemption programme for shoppers, cheering assemblies, and AlipayHK discount offers. We hope to engage everyone in the spirit of this year’s global multi-sport event and encourage active participation. We look forward to see the entire city energised and rallying behind our competing athletes as we eagerly anticipate the upcoming Paris 2024. Let's come together and cheer for them with all the excitement and enthusiasm this global multi-sport event deserves!     #SinoGroup #SinoLand #CreatingBetterLifescapes #SinoMalls #Paris2024
