The Group is committed to fostering cultural exchange, knowledge transfer and youth empowerment. Earlier this week, the Group hosted a delegation from Peking University Law School for an exchange session themed "The Integration of Legal Rules and Sharing Legal Practices between Hong Kong, Macau and Mainland China". The session was attended by over 30 faculty members and students. Led by Professor Guo Li, Dean and Party Secretary of Peking University Law School, and Professor Dai Xin, Vice Dean, the delegation was engaged in in-depth discussions with Shun Tak Group’s legal team.   During the session, the Group's legal team, comprising lawyers from the Mainland, Hong Kong, and Macau, shared their practical experiences as in-house corporate lawyers with the visiting scholars and students. They also elaborated on the different legal systems of the Hong Kong and Macau SARs, and the Mainland under the "One Country, Two Systems" principle. At Shun Tak, we believe people’s livelihood is the foundation of happiness and harmony in the community. Staying true to our core principle “Integrity and Virtue,” we endeavor to forging a strong community with our people-oriented services. At a seminar organized by the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce held recently, we gathered with fellow leaders from the business sector to share insights and collaborative achievements of our support in improving the livelihoods of the community. Over the past year, the Group has partnered with close to 50 agencies and NGOs to provide community service to those in need, benefiting nearly 10,000 people, including elderlies and children. The seminar brought to us valuable insights and better understanding on the business community’s dedication to improving people’s livelihood. The Group firmly believes that as we continue to work together with all sectors in the society, we will surely build a better tomorrow. As a pioneer of maritime transportation in the Greater Bay Area, the Group has been working hand in hand with the Hong Kong Sea School and the Maritime Services Training Institute for decades through TurboJET, the key operating arm of the Group’s transportation division, to provide professional training to new forces in Hong Kong's maritime industry. In addition, field trips were organized to enhance students’ understanding of the development maritime transportation and provide our young generation a vision on the betterment of livelihood.
