Long-awaited new mandatory obligations come into force in the EU today, setting the stage for a transformation in the way companies approach supply chains. The EU’s Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) requires large companies to undertake due diligence on potential and actual adverse impacts across human rights and the environment. This extends to subsidiaries and business partners related to their ‘chain of activities’. Non-EU companies will also face obligations if they meet the EU turnover thresholds. Implementation will stagger over the next five years. If you’re caught – it’s time to prepare. If you’re not - this is one to watch! Scott Gardiner and Tiffany Kwong give a recap of what it means – and how the game-changing rules work: https://lnkd.in/gTcxGAu9 #CSDDD #sustainability #KWMClimate

At KWM, we care about our community and value every opportunity to give back. We are proud of our Hong Kong June clerks who volunteered with Food Angel and our July clerks who joined Helping Hand on a visit to Chuk Yuen Housing for the Elderly. A Day with Food Angel Our team of dedicated June clerks and trainees came together with passion and enthusiasm during our recent pro bono event at Food Angel! Together, we prepared over 1700 meal boxes within 3 hours for those in need. It was inspiring to witness the power of teamwork and the commitment to giving back to the community. Food Angel provides nourishment and support to countless individuals who are facing food insecurity. Thank you to Food Angel for providing us with this wonderful opportunity to give back. We are grateful for their dedication to fighting hunger and their tireless efforts in making a positive difference in our community.
