After months of thoughtful redesign, DFS Waikiki relaunched its doors on September 14, unveiling a refreshed luxury retail experience that pays tribute to the islands' natural beauty. DFS Waikiki has been inspiring personal indulgence in the islands for over 60 years! Carrying forward our pioneering legacy, the store now houses the largest beauty hall in Hawaii and brings together over 100 top global brands alongside the biggest collection of local makers and artisans in Waikiki - over 45 local partners represented. With travel steadily returning, our reimagined store is ready to transport shoppers into Hawaii's vibrant culture through its ocean-blue carpet and floral motifs inspired by the state's landscapes. DFS Waikiki offers an imaginative retail environment open to all, no passports required! With immense pride, we announce that our LEGO Airport Store at JFK Terminal 4 has been recognized with the 2023 #BestNewRetailConcept award from Airports Council International - North America!   When we opened this store in partnership with JFKIAT and LEGO® Travel Retail in December 2021, our goal was to create an innovative shopping experience for travelers. The store offers exclusive NYC-themed LEGO sets and engaging exhibits that encourage customers to linger.   Our VP of Merchandising Thomas Papavasileiou notes this supports our new business strategy of identifying growth avenues outside our core.
