🎉 It’s a wrap! 🎉 The #BetterWeb3Forum2024, hosted by The Research Centre for Blockchain Technology at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and led by our hosts Professor Man Ho Allen Au and Professor Daniel Luo on 19 Oct 2024, was a huge success! 🚀  Co-organized by COMP PolyU, Research and Innovation Office RIO, and the PolyU & Cybaverse Academy Joint Lab on Law and Web3, the event brought together top minds in #Blockchain and #Web3 technology. This Forum is part of the Hong Kong Blocktober, a month-long celebration of blockchain innovation and the global Web3 community. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our keynote speakers Professor Claudio J. Tessone from the University of Zurich and Co-founder and Chairman of UZH Blockchain Center, who shared insightful thoughts on how design choices and user behavior shape decentralization and fairness in Web3, and Professor Andy (Yajin) Zhou from Zhejiang University and Co-founder and CEO of BlockSec, who discussed securing DeFi protocols and the latest developments in this space.
