Beijing ke naam ke matlab Chinese bhasa me "the northern capital" hae. Iske counterpart Nanjing rahaa, "the southern capital", Ming Dynasty ke time.
Beijing ke 14 urban aur suburban districts aur dui rural counties me baata gais hae.[1] Beijing ek khaas transportation hub hae, aur dher railway, rasta aur motorway city me se pass hoe hae.
