We were privileged last Friday, May 17, to accommodate the Bel-Air Primary School for a tour of our state-of-the-art Training facility. The students were shown various training required for jobs in the Energy industry and given the opportunity to partake in fun activities, in a safe and controlled environment, such as trying on PPE and confined space scenario, etc. Our instructors, Tiffany Balgobin and Christina Ramsammy, showed the enthusiastic students the operation of the HUET which they are eager to try when they get older.

In observation of Occupational Safety and Health Month under the theme: 'We are running out of time: Ensuring Safe and Healthy Work now in a changing climate,' we saw it fit to not only promote awareness to the workplace but also to children who are also affected by the changing climate the world is experiencing. This morning, our Instructor, Rayan Sattaur, took some time out to visit the Lusignan Primary School to educate and sensitise the students on best practices they can employ in their days to prevent heat stress, dehydration, etc. to remain healthy and safe. #safety #health #childrenarethefuture
