These evaluations are crucial as they will serve as a benchmark for the anticipated one-year sailing trial on the Elyros ferry. This meeting brought together our partners to discuss advancements and plot the course forward in our shared journey towards sustainable maritime technology. ENGIMMONIA is at the forefront of addressing IMO's #decarbonization challenges, focusing on #ammonia as a promising #CleanFuel for the future of shipping. Our efforts are concentrated on three key areas: 📌 Development of Low GWP Ammonia Engine: We are pioneering the use of ammonia in dual-fuel engines, aiming to significantly reduce #GreenhouseGasEmissions and foster a transition to more climate-friendly fuels. 📌 Integration of #CleanEnergy Technologies Onboard: Our project demonstrates effective onboard integration of technologies for electricity and #HVAC, contributing to the decarbonization of non-propulsion energy sectors.
