Maroussi welcomed the grand basketball festival! The event organized by PPC S.A. in collaboration with Eurohoops to promote 3×3 basketball continued its “journey” with its ninth stop in Maroussi. The train station was transformed for a day into a multi-purpose sports and entertainment venue, featuring a 3×3 court, an inflatable court, hoops for free play, and numerous additional activities. The Street Basketball Show by the unique freestyler Dudek, basketball challenges for every skill level, the Face Painting corner, and the 360° Photobooth added a special touch once again. The event was attended by Kostis Gontikas, player for GS Lavrio, Christos Jordanos, player for GS Maroussi, and other notable figures in sports. ••• Το Μαρούσι υποδέχτηκε τη μεγάλη μπασκετική γιορτή! Η διοργάνωση της ΔΕΗ σε συνεργασία με το Eurohoops για τη διάδοση του μπάσκετ 3×3, συνέχισε το “ταξίδι” της με ένατη “στάση” το Μαρούσι. Ο σταθμός ΗΣΑΠ μεταμορφώθηκε για μία ημέρα σε έναν πολυχώρο αθλητισμού και ψυχαγωγίας, με ένα γήπεδο 3×3, φουσκωτό γήπεδο, μπασκέτες για ελεύθερο παιχνίδι και πολλές παράλληλες δραστηριότητες. Το Street Basketball Show από τον μοναδικό Freestyler Dudek, τα μπασκετικά challenges για κάθε αγωνιστικό επίπεδο, το Face Painting corner και το 360° Photobooth έδωσαν για μια ακόμη φορά ξεχωριστή χροιά. The festive opening of the THI Summer Youth Academy with shining stars! The THI Summer Youth Academy, a free #sports and #educational summer #program from The Hellenic Initiative in collaboration with Eurohoops, kicked off its #activities with an impressive opening #ceremony at the Leonteios School of Athens. Prominent stars from the sports, music, and entertainment industries participated alongside members of the Hellenic Initiative Board in a special Exhibition Game that marked the beginning of the program. The event was attended by Alternate Minister of Health, Eirini Agapidaki, THI Board President George Stamas, and key program executives and partners. The festive finale of a wonderful basketball season for children on the Autism Spectrum! EQUALL HOOPS, the #basketball inclusive #academy by Eurohoops in collaboration with Piraeus for children on the #autism spectrum, concluded its activities for this year with a festive #event at the Eurohoops Dome. Athletes, coaches, and parents bid farewell to the 2023-2024 season with sports, fun and self-expression activities, and medals. This season, EQUALL HOOPS provided a suitable environment for 20 children and young people with autism spectrum disorder to engage in sports, have fun, and develop on a weekly basis. ••• Το εορταστικό φινάλε μιας υπέροχης μπασκετικής σεζόν για παιδιά στο Φάσμα του Αυτισμού! 3×3 Tournament by Trace ‘n Chase: Intense games and collectible prizes, with a guest appearance by Thodoris Papaloukas at the inaugural event! The 3×3 Tournament by Trace ‘n Chase took place at the Eurohoops Dome, featuring over 120 athletes ranging from 15 to 55 years old. This new event, organized by Eurohoops and Trace 'n Chase as part of their collaborative efforts to promote the unique appeal of sports, provided 3×3 enthusiasts with the opportunity to play the fast-paced game for free in state-of-the-art facilities, win collectible prizes, and enjoy themselves. The presence of EuroLeague Legend and Eurohoops Academy Director, Thodoris Papaloukas, added a special touch to the event. ••• 3×3 Tournament by Trace ‘n Chase: Δυνατές “μάχες” και συλλεκτικά δώρα, με guest εμφάνιση του Θοδωρή Παπαλουκά στην πρώτη διοργάνωση! Eurohoops at the fifth anniversary of the #AntetokounBros Academy! At the graduation #ceremony of the AntetokounBros Academy, more than 130 athletes received medals and gifts. Additionally, 6 #scholarships were awarded to #basketball academies for children who excelled in behavior and athletic potential, to help them improve their skills, and 2 academic scholarships were granted for studies at Deree. Moreover, the Antetokounmpo family's Academy awarded junior coach Vasiliki Kavakioti a 10-month position as a coach at Eurohoops Academy, whom we welcome to the Eurohoops family! The event also featured AntetokounBros Academy graduate, Eurohoops Academy athlete, and scholarship recipient of Leonteios School of Athens, Giannis Simopoulos, who competed and won in the 3x3 graduates’ tournament and was awarded by the Antetokounmpo brothers. The Eurohoops Organization was honored by the AntetokounBros Academy for its long-standing contribution to its mission, with Eurohoops' Chief Operating Officer, Lefteris Moutis, receiving the award. The AntetokounBros Academy is a pro bono program by Charles Antetokounmpo Family Foundation, supported by Nike, Kaizen Foundation, ERGON FOODS, Bioiatriki Nutrition, and implemented by Eurohoops and The American College of Greece. ••• Το Eurohoops στην πέμπτη επέτειο της AntetokounBros Academy! Eurohoops Camps | Easter Edition: Motivating and developing the talent of the next generation! Eurohoops Dome and Leonteios School of Athens successfully hosted the Eurohoops Camps | Easter Edition once again this Easter. Dozens of children, young male and female #athletes from all over Greece and abroad enjoyed the #game and developed their #basketball #skills through seven specialized #training plans, in modern #facilities and under the supervision of the specialized coaching team of Eurohoops. Additionally, the participants of the Eurohoops Camps | Easter Edition had the opportunity to meet the EuroLeague legend and Director of the Eurohoops Academy, Theodoros Papaloukas, in person and receive invaluable #advice. ••• Eurohoops Camps | Easter Edition: Ενέπνευσαν και εξέλιξαν το ταλέντο της νέας γενιάς! The neighborhood of Panorama embraced 3x3! The picturesque neighborhood of Panorama in Thessaloniki was filled with #basketball energy thanks to the PPC 3x3 POWER TO THE HOOD by Eurohoops event on Sunday, April 28th. The initiative by PPC S.A. in collaboration with Eurohoops to promote 3x3 basketball held its eighth "stop" at the historic Stone School of Panorama, transforming it for a day into a multi-space for #sports and #entertainment. Two outdoor 3x3 #courts, along with many parallel activities, music, colors, basketball tricks, contests, and of course, the exciting #games for both kids and adults, created an unforgettable experience for participants and visitors of the #event. ••• Το Πανόραμα υποδέχτηκε το 3×3! Record attendance with games and entertainment in Evosmos! PPC 3×3 POWER TO THE HOOD by Eurohoops, a collaboration between PPC S.A. and #Eurohoops, transformed Evosmos Square on Saturday, April 27, into a #basketball hub, filled with color, music, energy, and numerous parallel entertainment activities. Exciting games in tournaments across three age categories, baskets for free #play, an inflatable #court for the youngest fans of the #sport, Street Basketball Show, Face & Body Painting corner, and a 360° Photobooth kept the interest of participants and over 2,800 visitors from morning till night. Guest of honor at the #event in Evosmos was the former European #Champion, Nikos Hatzivrettas, who stems from the area. ••• Ρεκόρ προσέλευσης με παιχνίδι και ψυχαγωγία στον Εύοσμο! The Mismatch system has been installed at its two #basketball courts, at the Eurohoops Dome and at the Leonteios School of Athens, offering fully automated #video #recording and playback capabilities for games and practices.
