Arc System Works America, Inc. has announced the release of River City Saga: Three Kingdoms Next, the brand-new game sequel and conclusion in Kunio’s “Three Kingdoms” story. The game is available today for Nintendo Switch.

River City Saga: Three Kingdoms Next is the sequel game to 2022’s River City Saga: Three Kingdoms, which brought players a unique experience set during China’s Three Kingdoms period and was based on the popular Downtown Special: River City Historical Drama! game. The original game and new sequel see River City characters enter China’s Three Kingdoms period and take on roles set within the historical tale, Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

In River City Saga: Three Kingdoms Next, players will experience 6 exciting story chapters that follow the wild antics of over 100 River City characters. The sequel immediately follows the Battle of Red Cliffs and continues towards the climax of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms novel (the Battle of Wuzhang Plains), bringing the conclusion to Kunio’s “Three Kingdoms” story as he takes the heroic role of Guan Yu and joins the hot-blooded battle over the nation.

Players can expect the following action-packed story and gameplay in the new River City Saga: Three Kingdoms Next:

River City Cast in Three Kingdoms Roles – Including Kunio as Guan Yu, Misako as Zhuge Liang, Goda as Liu Bei, Yamada as Cao Cao, Toraichi as Huang Zhong, Tobioka as Sima Yi, and many others.

Get on Red Hare and Send Enemies Packing! – Red Hare makes an appearance as a motorcycle this time! You can summon Red Hare when the gauge is full, allowing you to travel through stages on the bike. Limited Run Games has revealed that they’re giving Chicory: A Colorful Tale a physical Switch release. Pre-orders for the game are set to open on Nov. 15th, 2024.

Limited Run Games will be offering two versions of Chicory: A Colorful Tale. First is the standard version for $35 that gets you a physical copy of the game. There’s also the Collector’s Edition for $75 that includes the following:

Doomed Course’s Killer, The Houndmaster, otherwise known as Portia Maye, stands as one of the most unique and tragic characters to enter the Dead by Daylight universe. Beginning life as a curious, kind-hearted girl, Portia’s mind was shattered when she was forced to witness the brutal torture and murder of her father at the hands of pirates in the 19th century. Consumed by her hatred, she grew up alone on the mysterious Dragon’s Tooth Island in the Bermuda Triangle, devoting her life to inflicting pain on those responsible. The only remaining tie to her humanity – the bond she shares with her hulking dog Snug, a gift from her father, who aids her in the hunt.

As Dead by Daylight’s first AI-controlled animal companion, Snug will serve to help Portia chase, track, and grip fleeing Survivors so she can finish the job.

Players will have access to 2 distinct commands for their canine cohort: Chase and Search. The Chase command sends Snug charging forward with the option to redirect him for additional control. Should he catch hold of a Survivor, Snug will drag them back towards The Houndmaster to face the horrors that await. The Search command additionally creates a Houndsense radius which widens as Snug moves, sniffing out and revealing any Survivor caught within its reach.

Only the smallest slice of Dead by Daylight’s Survivors can be deemed morally grey, and of those few, none walk that line more dangerously than Taurie Cain. Born and raised in the Black Talon cabal, a clandestine cult dedicated to understanding and worshipping The Entity, Taurie lost her mother and brother exploring a Bleed – an overlap between our world and The Entity’s Realm.

She returned from the Bleed, her heart touched by darkness, more certain than ever that her destiny lay in serving The Entity. However, when The Fog finally came to take her, she discovered that her service would not come as a Killer… but a Survivor.

Despite being separated by centuries and circumstance, The Houndmaster and Taurie Cain’s stories share a common thread – one that weaves throughout much of Dead by Daylight’s lore – exposure to Bleeds.

These Bleeds, believed to be the overlaps between The Entity’s Realm and our world allow those who dare, to enter the deadly confines of The Fog. While some may escape with their lives intact, exposure of any kind to The Entity does not come without dark consequences. Prior to her time in the Trials, Survivor Haddie Kaur investigated Bleeds around the globe for her podcast series “Harbinger of Hell”, and Bleeds have also been identified at the site of numerous Dead by Daylight landmarks including Crotus Prenn Asylum.

For The Houndmaster and Taurie, their exposure to Bleeds changed each of their lives, driving one to murderous madness and the other towards a life devoted to The Entity. One that would ultimately lead to an eternity of suffering. Such is the course, doomed though it may be.

Dead by Daylight: Doomed Course is currently available as part of the Steam public test build. It releases officially on Nov. 26.

Today, EA and Respawn revealed DOC’s dangerous journey in a new trailer for the latest Apex Legends season, Apex Legends: From The Rift. After getting pulled into a dimensional rift and taking severe damage, DOC is fortunately saved by Lifeline at the last minute who risks her own life by pulling him out of the rift, harming her own arm in the process.

In Apex Legends: From The Rift, Lifeline has been revived—the original combat medic is now a frontline menace! She’s got new skills to bring to the Ring, with updated Tactical, Passive, and Ultimate abilities:

• Tactical - D.O.C. now heals all nearby allies and can be assigned to follow allies once deployed.
• Passive - Lifeline can now grab D.O.C and glide for a few seconds.
• Ultimate - Lifeline can now throw D.O.C to activate his 360 degree Halo Shield System. The Halo Shield System blocks bullets, and players inside, gain fast healing.

Jerry Anker and the Quest to get Love will be released on Nintendo Switch on November 21st, and will be priced at $15. The Switch version has a 20% discount during the two week pre-order period.

Fans can check out the new Introductory Trailer for the latest entry in the Touhou Project universe, Touhou Spell Carnival. The trailer introduces the Touhou Project universe and the world of the bullet hell x strategy RPG game, Touhou Spell Carnival.

The game launches physically and digitally on November 19, 2024, for Nintendo Switch in North America and digitally in Europe. The European physical editions will be available on December 3, 2024.

Touhou Project is a bullet hell shoot ‘em up game created by ZUN’s group, Team Shanghai Alice. Set in the isolated land of Gensokyo, various incidents, known as disturbances, arise from different causes. The story follows the main protagonist, Reimu Hakurei, the shrine maiden of Hakurei Shrine, as she and her friends resolve these disturbances.

Strategic Rogulite Runs

Every level needs you to think and play strategically. Pick from a variety of gnomes to deploy, each with their own specialty. Place them at the start of your turn and send them to work gathering resources and supplies while fighting off foes. At the end of your turn, reposition your entire team, add more gnomes if needed, and gather again!

But be warned with each turn, the cave becomes more and more unstable and ravenous bats pick away at your supplies. So decide when it’s time to leave and move on. Choose your path down the caves as you decide which routes to take. The deeper you go, the more supplies you’ll need to stay so think carefully and plan each move.

A Different Team For Every Expedition

Every run lets you adapt, change, and upgrade your team at various points, making each expedition into the caves unique. Modify your team and playstyle to what you need out of the run, mixing it up when a change of tactics is required. Pick and swap from a variety of gnomes to get the job done, assign game-changing upgrades that combine in unexpected ways, and discover hidden special abilities for certain gnomes.

Progress With Every Run

Venture into the caves knowing each run gets you resources no matter how they end. The deeper you go, the more valuable resources you can gather but no matter the outcome, you won’t return empty-handed.

Today’s Games, an indie studio made up of devs behind League of Legends, Serious Sam, SCUM, have just shared a new trailer for their debut game, ReSetna. You can get a look at this brand-new Metroidvania above.

Game description: ReSetna is set in a world populated by sentient machines whose populations have been devastated by a monstrous virus. In such a fallen realm, unknown entities activate a unique metallic maiden in a remote location. Her name is Resetna, and what begins as her pure fight for survival soon becomes something much more. The game will have rich and meaningful lore and dozens of interesting characters, including compelling bosses, based on psychological pathologies.

The gameplay features a unique chip-based upgrade system, allowing the players to instantly change their playstyle and use their wits to increase their combat abilities or exploration potential. ReSetna is imagined to be a beautiful metroidvania with all the traits that made these games so popular, while trying to break some new ground in gameplay and atmosphere.

ReSetna is coming to Switch sometime in Q1 2025. We’ll bring you a more specific date once one is announced.

Following a digital-only Switch eShop release back in September, a physical release of Caravan SandWitch is now confirmed to be on the way. The narrative-driven exploration adventure game will be distributed by Silver Lining Interactive and released on March 8th, 2025, with copies set to be available from retailers across North America, Europe, and Asia. The price of the physical version is currently unknown, but pre-orders are expected to open up soon.

Developer Pancake Games and publisher Whitethorn Games have announced that Slime Heroes is coming to Nintendo Switch. When the 3D action-adventure “Souls-lite” game was first announced, Switch was not on the list of platforms, but it is now confirmed to be launching alongside the other versions sometime in Q1 2025.

No Man’s Sky has been updated to Version 5.25 on Nintendo Switch. The update adds cross-save support between consoles, brings back the SSV Normandy SR1 from Mass Effect (only available for two weeks), bug fixes, and more. Check out the full patch notes below.

• Cross-Save is now enabled for No Man’s Sky, allowing players to transfer save games between all platforms.
