This is such a cute and fun game, although it can get a bit stressful! The fact that each worker has slightly different stats is a very nice touch.

I would LOVE to see this as a full game, I got up to day 30 and had everything unlocked. Genuinely if it just had a few mechanical tweaks and finished art (and possibly even story?) I would pay to have a full game of this

Thank you for playing! I really want to find the time to wrap up this game and deliver something complete. If you have any other suggestions, let me know!

This game is absolutely fantastic! As someone who loves games that keep you stimulated and have aspects of strategy, this one really takes the cake! I managed to get to day 28 without angering any of the customers, truly a good challenge! I usually don't write reviews on anything, let alone comments, but I just had to say how wonderful this game was. I did end up getting overwhelmed, I admit. But the almost instant satisfaction when you're SO close to getting a customer angry but then you pull through last second, what a thrill! works extremely well with anything touchscreen. :)

Thank you so much for your comment! Really glad you liked it! Comments like this really make to want to keep working on the game and further improve it.

Glad to hear you enjoyed the challenge. The salon is only open for 1 minute each day, yet it can feel surprisingly long when you're super focused.

Pretty good.

I love it, though i got a little confused about the shop items. Do you use them by pressing something/dragging them or are they passive buffs that depend on how much you have? Never figured that out.

I would love to have plushies of them, specially the kobold worker, so cute!!!

Thanks for playing!

During daytime, you can open the item menu and drag items you've purchased onto the customers to give it to them. Some items only work on customers of a certain color, such as hot dogs for red and broccoli for green. Other items boost their patience, speed or tip in a positive way. Some items can only be applied to stations..

Unfortunately, we didn't have time to properly explain the system in-game so it's a bit of a guessing game. Only Lumie, who designed it, understands the mad depths of the system. It is possible to chain items such that a customer stays in the shop for ages, exponentially increasing their tip. With that it's possible to 100% the game in 5 days.

I played the entire game without angering a single customer! Woohoo!!

Lovely game btw, a lot of fun, I enjoyed it!

Nice work! Really glad you enjoyed it.

Scale Salon Gameplay

Awesome fun game!

Good concept and really cute execution!  I do hope we see some updates. :)  I'd like some more locations and customer types. I'd also like to see the game be a little more challenging. I didn't feel myself needing the items at all though I do think they're a good idea!

i tried to see how long i could come without angrying a single customer. I came all the way to day 24 before i failed by a single one

Too fast! Also layering issues on the cat, appearing over the seats.
Minor clipping on Dinosaurs entering the level 1 shop

notable clipping on dragons entering the level 1 shop

Very cute tho

Thanks! I rewrote the employee depth sorting and fixed shop foreground clipping, plus added some more features.

Really interesting game the only problem i had was getting it to click on them to start. Maybe have it lock them in place when their on the right station? Also a thing to were you can assign someone to a specific spot so they only work that spot, but auto start tasks there would maybe interesting.

Thanks for the feedback. It seems the drag distance threshold was a bit too small, causing clicks and dragging to get mixed up. I've updated the game with that distance tripled, so hopefully clicks should register a bit better now!

I'm working on making customers walk to the cash register on their own. If an employee is present at the register, it should process the customers in line automatically. Most likely you'd have someone standing there at all times. I'll experiment with how that automation feels with employees being stationed at other spots as well!

This is one of the cutest and most engaging games I've played! My only feedback is more room to expand!

( 2)

I had a good time with this. Very cute and fun to play!

This is a pretty good game, reminds me of papa's pizzareia on the time management and customer serving aspect, and the otter shop was a cool addition as well (although I don't know how to even use the items lol)

anyways, its a 7 or 8/10 game, but with a bit more polish and mechanics, it could certainly be 10/10!

Pretty good game!! Spent 2 hours to maximize everything but I really hope you add new updates to this, cozy gameplay, liked it a lot ;))

Thanks for playing! We're still polishing some details so there may be some updates soon. If you have any suggestions, feel free to share!

Great! I don't know how those "powerups" worked but it wasn't a problem for me, so maybe a tutorial would be great

It's a nice simple cozy game, impressive that it was made in so little time!

At first, I was annoyed by the fact I couldn't control which employee did what, but then it forced me to think about the order I click things in, and their distance to each employee, which I found fun.

I played "20 days" before learning I can upgrade the furniture, at which point I upgraded half of my utilities to their max tier. I probably just didn't read something somewhere.

This experience did make me realize that the game is far easier when you just have kobolds coming in, especially if you have half your utilities still at tier 1, haha!

I made it through 30 days without a single unhappy customer, which either means the game could be slightly more challenging, or I'm a pro gamer.

I did learn about the shop thanks to the otter interjection, though I didn't find use any of the items, I didn't particularly need them.

The game plays great, there seems to be no glitches, none that I've encountered.

The game looks adorable, though certain assets seem more rushed than others.

The music is phenomenal, fantastic job Mato! It's literally perfect. I appreciate the simple adaptiveness of the soundtrack. The sounds as well, though idk who was responsible for that.

Bonus points for having a Linux build.

That's my two cents. Great job on the game!

Thank you for your lovely comment! Glad you liked it.

As you probably realized, upgraded stations attract larger customers. They require more work but also earn you more money. Staying on tier 1 and only serving small customers is kind of a cute idea, haha, although it would make the game a bit stale. I better add a symbol that highlights what items you're able to purchase!

nice game b('_')

I just spent an embarrassingly long time playing your game. I'm stopping because I ran out of upgrades to get, but this has such cozy nostalgic vibes, and I love it so much. Excellent job!

same lol

Really glad you liked it!
