Describe the bug / provide steps to reproduce it

This is reminiscent of #4274, and may actually be the same bug, since the example I gave for it also involved long copilot suggestions.

It's a bit hard to describe concrete reproduction steps due to the nature of AI suggestions, but what worked for me was to type in some text similar to the beginning of an essay to get a longer suggestion like "This is my essay about". This should give a longer suggestion and hide the cursor.

Zed: v0.126.1 (Zed Preview)
OS: macOS 14.2.1
Memory: 16 GiB
Architecture: aarch64
