Big 1, Codeium is a free AI-powered toolkit, while GitHub Copilot can be expensive for some. Supporting Codeium will certainly help boost developer's productivity, and attract more users to use Zed.

I'm wanting this too. Listening to the changelog podcast episode with Nathan Sobo right now and heard him talking about copilot integration on Zed and immediately looked into codeium integration. I've used both and think codeium is better (though it's been a while since I've used copilot maybe they've caught up)

I would love to see that support in Zed, it would most likely mean the demise of visual studio code on my mac.

i really love zed and codeium, so if u could mix it up together it would be a game changer for many devs to use zed as main code editor

Zed is free as in free to use, but also free to modify. If you would like to see this feature, then feel free (hah) to submit a pull request for it.

@injust wouldn’t that freeze the number of thumbs up? This issue is already the 5th most popular in terms of thumbs up, and the exponential popularity of Codeium should make it even more wanted.
