ikaBeat is a song tempo analysis software designed for Mac computers running on Apple Silicon chips.
ikaBeat utilizes native Swift code and Essentia's rhythm calculation algorithms to provide users with accurate BPM (Beats Per Minute) analysis of songs. The software's icon and interface design are inspired by the Japanese anime "Squid Girl" (Shinryaku! Ika Musume).

Note: This software only supports macOS systems with Apple Silicon architecture. For x86 architecture Macs, please compile the source code yourself.
- Go to the Releases page of this project
- Download the latest version ZIP file
- Unzip the downloaded file
- Drag the ikaBeat application into your Applications folder
- Launch the ikaBeat application
- Drag and drop music files into the application window, or use the "Open File" button to select music files
- Wait for the analysis to complete and view the BPM results
ikaBeat is written in Swift and integrates the Essentia audio analysis library. The dynamic libraries included in the project are all Arm64 architecture, optimized for Apple Silicon chips.
