Would be a pretty useful shortcut rather than having to Shift Escape and looking through multiple processes every time a tab is acting badly.

Ctrl W to close it?
if you need tab "reload" then, after closing, use Ctrl Shift T to re-open last closed tab (does not work in Incognito)

Also - there already Close option in tab context menu

And chrome.exe manager called via Shift Esc

Is it trolling?

UPD: probably i not fully understood your suggestion, so if you talk about exactly killing of process, that serve current tab, then, depends on user configuration, there can be potential issue with "killing" only one desire tab

for example, killing of one tab here will terminate all other(plus staff), served by this process

This is not exactly what you requested, but the workaround provided here turned out to be useful for me #613 (comment)
