Dear Vincel,

I am a regular user of the ChatGPT Mac application and have greatly appreciated the convenience and capabilities it offers. However, I've noticed that the application currently lacks a feature that I believe could significantly enhance its utility: the ability to log in and access GPT-4.

I propose the implementation of a login system within the ChatGPT Mac application. This system would allow users to log in with their OpenAI accounts, enabling them to access the latest GPT-4 model. By integrating this feature, users who have access to GPT-4 through their OpenAI accounts can utilize its advanced capabilities directly within the Mac application.

Looking forward if it is possible!

In case anyone else needs this, i have changed the app to work for ChatGPT plus subscriptions(meaning GPT4,custom GPTs, etc) in my fork: https://github.com/ZygimantasKoncius/chatgpt-mac - the installation procedure is definitely more involved there though.

@vincelwt i didn't put up a PR here since it doesn't seem like this repo is being currently maintained, if anything changes happy to to put up a PR for this.

@ZygimantasKoncius Nice! But I can't get it to work, and there is no way of filing an issue on your fork =)
