I was playing around with nValt default folder in the app's preferences and changed the write folder to another. All my notes are gone now. Went in to change it back to original folder but... I can't find it. ~Library/Application Support/Notational Velocity does not exist on my machine. Where are my original notes stores by default? Couldn't discover any .txt files and I am unfamiliar with the single database file names.
