Make angled parking definitions conform more closely to other standards #2111
Comments
this was related to a DOT which wanted to use streetmix to display and edit their cross section data. The streetmix relative to viewer coding of angled parking (and I think a couple other types of parking) was a real poor fit to doing that as you needed to convert the parking from relative to flow of traffic to relative to viewer. My previous pull was just the changes i had made in my local branch to display parking relative to traffic flow, the DOT in question has since ended the project and I've moved on from working with streetmix so I probably won't be able to help, but I do think display of existing data is a use of street mix that many in government are excited about. |
@calvinmetcalf One thing that would be super helpful in creating a better integration with those standards is we connect with your DOT so we can compare data structures. Do you mind putting us in touch? Over email is great: [email protected]. Thanks! |
