I have used many open source tools and libraries throughout my professional career thinking that "hey, it's open source! I can always continue with it by myself if anything happens". Although it is true, and I have exercised this approach myself with Windows port of Redis (whose development was suddenly stopped) - I must admit it is not trivial :)

It is quite hard to dive into something new from one day to another, get acquainted with it and then be able to deliver production-ready changes - and that's just one tool/library while you still need to get your main job done... But don't you worry - I've come to save you the burden of all of this ;) and I am willing to spend some time on maintaining that project.

Since I am mostly doing this in my spare time over the weekends - I would like you to consider sending me a small/medium/big "thank you" by sponsoring my work. This kind of "feedback", in my opinion, creates a stronger commitment - as you give more than just clicking a "star" (which is also welcome!) and then I do my best to earn that money (I don't want to get it for free and I bet you didn't get it for free either).

I love reverse-engineering, so this tier is a "reverse postcardware" - you will receive a postcard once in a while from me as a reward for your contribution. I will most likely spend the rest on coffee.

While coffee is great, I tend to be more creative after having a beer (or two), so your issue reports might get solved quicker, new releases published sooner, etc. In addition to "reverse postcardware" reward - I will attach a beer pad for you, cheers! Please don't choose this tier too often though - I still need to be able to provide high quality changes ;)

You definitely rely on my work and want me to focus on being up-to-date with latest state-of-the-art frameworks, tooling and methodologies, so that I can maintain Redis for Windows and keep it in sync with the original. If you choose this tier I will stop offering "A beer a weekend" tier (to have some more time on weekends ;) and will use your contribution to spend more time on fixing issues, providing improvements, porting new features, as well as trying to attend some conferences related to Redis (Redis Days, RedisConf, etc.) to get first-hand news about its roadmap and future plans. If you want me to promote/feature/mention your software product - we can surely arrange something.
