I work in the field of open-source software and information security. Basically making and breaking software at the same time!
What am I working on?
I am currently working on binserve, a fast static web server written in Rust and moonwalk, a red teaming tool for security researchers right here on GitHub. I also secure open-source projects with huntr and have patched and triaged several open-source security issues.
The end goal!
My plan is to go full-time on open-source simply because it feels pretty wholesome and the impact it has on the software world is immense the open information as an educational resource is good for the world. To achieve this, I have been experimenting with the freemium business model and of course support from the community via platforms like BuyMeACoffee and now GitHub Sponsors! ❤️
