👋 I'm Jürgen, a passionate open source maintainer and active community member!

At my day job I maintain the build infrastructure for Ubuntu at @Canonical.

I am best known for being a maintainer of the tox automation project, critical to both open source projects and commercial entities alike.

I also maintain flask-reuploaded, Products.ZopeTree and other niche projects, because I love to enable other people to build amazing things on top of my code - open source code!

Did you know that the NASA used my code for their Mars mission?

I am also a serial contributor to the vast open source ecosystem - I have contributed to way more than 300 repositories, e.g. cpython and others.

I also love to share my knowledge, at work, via blog posts and also as a regular speaker at conferences and meetups.

In 2022 I was elected as a Fellow of the Python Software Foundation for my outstanding contributions to the Python ecosystem!
