Hi there! I try to improve things all around the place. Mostly at the intersection of game development, game modding, tooling, some reverse-engineering, translation, and free and open-source software.
-
Contributed to projects like ReactOS; improving their package manager system, system-wide mbedTLS support, reimplementing things like
whoami
or improving the task manager and usability. As well as patches into SDL2, LuaJIT, CUPS and other parts of the stack. Sometimes doing stuff like fixing certain Bluetooth dongles that are broken on the Linux kernel and implementing new device quirks. -
Taken part on creating or enhancing much of the tooling that is used to create mods for Mount&Blade and Warband, originally with projects like Iron Launcher, the cartographer map editor, the SceneObj scene-editing tools, and now the continued version of OpenBRF.
-
Worked on Star Wars Conquest for more than a decade, and ported The Last Days of the Third Age to Warband. Lately I have been mostly working on Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy, first as hobby HD texture pack for Dolphin and then officially porting it to PC and Nintendo Switch, and untangling its EngineX game engine, aiming to make new worlds a reality and extending its lifespan.
If you find any of this useful, have disposable income, and feel generous, then feel free to chip in and help making free and open-source development minimally sustainable.
Thanks in advance. 🐧
