What's wrong?

I noticed that the visual mode is not applying when I start my laptop and I have to manually apply it from ghelper

How to reproduce the bug?

Start the computer, let it start ghelper and leave a couple of minutes, and then from ghelper apply the same visual mode that you haved before and you'll see that the color of the screen change meaning it wasn'nt applyed before.

@Supermelonazo66 hello, what kind of Visual Mode do you have selected? Cause it looks like it’s “Default” (i.e. no visual mode at all), and G-Helper doesn’t set anything on startup by design.

Hi @seerge, yea I have "Default" as the visual mode that I use but, when I start my laptop the screen is slightly slightly more yellow than it should be and when I select manually in ghelper the "Default" visual mode it returns to normal.

@Supermelonazo66 then I assume that when you boot - you see a “proper” default colors (unless some other app overrides that?) and when you manually select Default in G-Helper - you see Asus version of default…

Just in case G-Helper doesn’t have own color modes, it just calls AsusSplendid utility in your system to set mode, same as AC does

Hi @seerge, I managed to resolve it, it was the AMD video driver that was very outdated (from 2023), when I updated it I didn't have that issue anymore.
