tabula-analytics

The University of Warwick's custom administration system Tabula has a JSON REST API. This is a collection of Python data visualisations using data fetched from this API.

Installation

  1. python3 -m pip install -r requirements.txt
  2. cp example_config.yaml config.yaml
  3. mkdir data

Usage

  • To (re)load your data from Tabula: Log-in in your browser and copy your cookie into config.yaml, then run python3 fetch_data.py
  • To run the application: Run python3 -m gunicorn app:app and navigate to http://localhost:8000 in your web browser
  • To delete your local copy of your data (after all it may well contain information you deem sensitive): bash purge_data.sh
