I use tofi not only for application launching, but other things like connecting/disconnecting to networks. There's a problem, however: I use tofi in vertical mode (I don't like the horizontal much), and I want to have a relatively long prompt; but it leads to a huge unused space, like the left side of the following:
You might say me to shorten the prompt, but I like it to be there.
What I think is nice is to be able to have a title also (e.g.
--title-text
), which appears above the prompt. It doesn't have to be something fancy, like considering separate borders. No. Just a simple title, which aligns to the entries (and not the prompt text), right above the input.P.S: Thanks for tofi. I think I appreciated the work, but it was not enough. :)
