Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I'm always frustrated when I cannot reference documents and URLs while I am writing or editing a message. Currently, this functionality is only available when the message edit window is empty, which disrupts the writing flow and limits flexibility.

Describe the solution you'd like
I would like to have the ability to reference documents and URLs seamlessly at any point during the message composition or editing process, not just when the message edit window is empty.

Describe alternatives you've considered
An alternative could be to introduce a specific toolbar or shortcut that allows users to insert references to documents and URLs regardless of the state of the message edit window.

Additional context
This feature would greatly enhance the user experience, particularly for users like me who are often working on complex documents and need to reference multiple sources fluidly. It would save time and make the writing process more efficient and less cumbersome.
