Tajpi esperantajn literojn 'per iksoj', en OS-X

• Metu tiun ĉi dosieron en ~/Library/Keyboard Layouts/ (kreu tiun dosierujon se ĝi ne jam ekzistas), kaj resalutu. Ne alinomigu ĝin. Ĝia nomo finiĝu en .keylayout. '~' estas via hejmadosierujo. Ekz. /Users/mihxil/

• Se vi deziras piktogramon, metu ankaŭ http://purl.org/NET/mihxil/osx/Esperanto-iksoj.icns apud ĝin.

• System Preferences -> Language & Text -> Input Sources. Elektu 'Iksoj'.

  Uzu je la 'keyboard viewer' por vidi kiel ĝi funkcias. Mi testis ĝin en Mac OS X 10.6.2 (Snow Leopard)

  Mi komencis per http://www.wordherd.com/keyboards/ por krei komencan US-keyboard-on Kiel mi agis:

  • La ses literoj nun ne plu estas 'output=' sed 'action='.
  • Ankaŭ 'x' estas nun action=.
  • Tiam mi difinis tiujn 'action'-ojn
  • La efektiva eligo okazas per ''. Ĉar ĉio okazas per 'mortaj' klavoj.

• 2010-12-02: Purigis la dosieron iom per Ukelele. Eble tio ĉi solvis la problemon pri ikso-stato dum forlaso de redaktokampoj.

• Copy this file to ~/Library/Keyboard Layouts/ (Create this directory if it does not yet exist), and login again. Do not rename it. Its extension must be '.keylayout'. '~' is your home directory. E.g. /Users/mihxil/
• Next to this file you can also install Esperanto-iksoj.icns which make this key layout have a nice icon.
• System Preferences -> Language & Text -> Input Sources. Choose 'iksoj'.

You can open the 'Keyboard viewer' to see how it works. You see that the 6 letters cghjsu will be 'dead' keys. Type one of them, and then an 'x' to get the letter with the accent, or something else if you need the letter without the accent.
